Opening Alconbury Flood Group's new retention pond Sunday, 1 December, 2024 Out this weekend meeting with Alconbury Flood Group as we opened the new Alderman’s Retention Pond at Sallow’s Farm. The pond is the 4th of 40 planned ponds and will take 1.6% of the excess floodwater from Alconbury Brook.
