Fantastic to be able to support the Brampton and District Royal British Legion Memorial Ride this morning. As we enter the period of Remembrance I believe it’s hugely important to support annual efforts to mark the occasion.
The 25-mile ride visits each known memorial in the district, laying a wreath and reciting the Kohima Epitaph alongside conducting a minute’s silence. I was privileged to lay the wreath at Great Stukeley.
My thanks to Ian for planning out the route. With a mix of on/off-toad I wasn’t able to participate in the full route yet still managed to pick up a puncture on the way home.
A wonderful initiative and fantastic to see it so well supported. I look forward to seeing the rest of the pictures from the day.
