It was hugely important to have the opportunity to meet with the Cambridgeshire Constabulary Chief Constable Nick Dean and discuss the nature of the policing challenges his force faces, both across the county and here within Huntingdon.
We discussed how policing locally is prioritised and how as the constituency's new MP, I could best support the force and the Police and Crime Commissioner in ensuring that Cambridgeshire Police are allocated the resources necessary to enable the force to remain effective.
