Hackney North & Stoke Newington Campaign RoundUp Week 2:
A fantastic week of campaigning saw the teams out and about across Hackney North. Having mobilised our Association membership to good effect, and pulling in additional support from nearby Associations too, our swelled numbers made for some effective distribution across the north and east of the constituency.
We had already orchestrated targeted station drops throughout the week to distribute the leaflet for my Six-Point plan during rush hour; By the weekend we had therefore already made a significant impact, distributing close to a thousand leaflets across Dalston Kingsland and Stoke Newington to commuters.
The main push has taken place this last weekend however, with leaflet distribution focused on both Clapton and Stamford Hill. Two teams managed to cover some large swathes of ground and we will now enter into the penultimate phase of our campaign.
With 10 days still to go, residents in Hackney North and Stoke Newington can expect to receive several pieces of literature, including both the Six-Point plan, My Priorities for the Constituency and also a Newsletter which should hopefully outline a little more detail for those I hope will consider voting Conservative on 12th December. We haven’t had the luxury of time and it hasn’t been possible to personally meet as many local residents as I would have hoped. With a short window within which to get my message out, the newsletter should help to detail why I am the best candidate in this General Election. Keep an eye out for it!
