This week saw the commencement of Envar's appeal against the decision to reject their planning application to build a new medical waste incinerator at their Woodhurst site.
The 8-day hearing at the County Council's New Shire Hall building will hear evidence ahead of the decision whether the initial rejection of the proposal will be overturned. I was pleased to attend alongside Shailesh Vara MP and Cllr Steve Criswell who has done a huge amount to champion the cause of local residents since the issue first came to light.
