The final week of a hard fought campaign. The final few thousand leaflets delivered up and down the length of Hackney North & Stoke Newington. The final push towards the day of the poll.
The Association members coupled with the help of willing activists who believe in our Conservative message worked extremely hard to cover the ground and push forth a message not often heard in this part of London. Though our ground game is often at a numerical disadvantage to that of the Labour Party, we have redoubled our commitment to ensuring that we have been able to compete. Having distributed over 45,000 leaflets across a variety of different means, this election has been one in which we have felt able to compete. The opportunity to motivate and galvanise support has been one which has been taken with a huge amount of enthusiasm and s such we are very much hoping to see that the early hours of 13th December is characterised by the positive impact of an excellent performance in what is nationally one of the opposition's safest seats.
Thank you to all those who have spent the hours, rain or shine, walking the ground, battling with letterboxes only to be rewarded with grazed knuckles and delivering the message early in the morning and late in the evening. Without your support, none of this would have been possible, and for that, I am extremely grateful.
