Hinchingbrooke Hospital is a vital healthcare resource both locally and beyond. As your MP I will fully support Hinchingbrooke's plans to build a brand new hospital and will campaign to secure the funding needed for the redevelopment of the site.
In addition to this I will campaign for a new access road from Views Common, vital to tackling local traffic issues.
I recently met with the Hospital's Chief Executive Hannah Coffey to discuss the construction of the new block, housing seven state-of-the-art operating theatres, pharmacy and pathology services, that will form part of the proposed new hospital. Whilst this demonstrated what could be built Huntingdon, and the surrounding area, urgently need a new hospital that is fit for purpose.
